A h\u00fasv\u00e9ti vig\u00edlia szimb\u00f3lumaiban megjelenik a f\u00e9ny \u00e9s a s\u00f6t\u00e9t, a t\u0171z \u00e9s a v\u00edz, hogy egy\u00fctt magasztalj\u00e1k a felt\u00e1madott Krisztust, aki legy\u0151zte a s\u00f6t\u00e9ts\u00e9get, a hal\u00e1lt. A vig\u00edlia szertart\u00e1sa n\u00e9gy, j\u00f3l elk\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00fcl\u0151 l\u00e9nyegi r\u00e9szb\u0151l \u00e1ll: a f\u00e9ny liturgi\u00e1j\u00e1b\u00f3l, az igeliturgi\u00e1b\u00f3l, a v\u00edzszentel\u00e9sb\u0151l \u00e9s az \u00e1ldozati liturgi\u00e1b\u00f3l. Iv\u00e1n atya a pl\u00e9b\u00e1niatemplom f\u0151bej\u00e1rat\u00e1n\u00e1l v\u00e9gezte el a liturgi\u00e1t, majd err\u0151l gy\u00fajtott\u00e1k meg az \u00faj h\u00fasv\u00e9ti gyerty\u00e1t. Ezt k\u00f6vet\u0151en a pl\u00e9b\u00e1nos, a ministr\u00e1nsok k\u00eds\u00e9ret\u00e9ben bevonult, mik\u00f6zben mind\u00f6ssze csak ennek a gyerty\u00e1nak a f\u00e9nye vil\u00e1g\u00edtotta meg a f\u00e9lhom\u00e1lyba burkol\u00f3zott templomot, hogy \u00faj rem\u00e9nyt adjon.
