A\nszemin\u00e1rium n\u00f6ved\u00e9ke 1940 \u0151sz\u00e9t\u0151l lett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> 1944-ben V. \u00e9ves teol\u00f3gus \u00e9s f\u00f6lszentelt diak\u00f3nus volt a veszpr\u00e9mi papneveld\u00e9ben, amikor a megy\u00e9sp\u00fcsp\u00f6k letart\u00f3ztat\u00e1sa elleni t\u00fcntet\u00e9sben val\u00f3 r\u00e9szv\u00e9tele miatt, november 29-\u00e9n \u0151rizetbe vett\u00e9k. A papi rend szents\u00e9g\u00e9t december 7-\u00e9n vette fel, ugyancsak a fogoly p\u00fcsp\u00f6ke kez\u00e9b\u0151l. Ezut\u00e1n Sopronk\u0151hid\u00e1ra, majd onnan a soproni Isteni Megv\u00e1lt\u00f3 Le\u00e1nyainak anyah\u00e1z\u00e1ba sz\u00e1ll\u00edtott\u00e1k. Innen 1945. febru\u00e1r 22-\u00e9n szabadult. Tekintettel arra, hogy\nravataloz\u00f3 nem l\u00e9v\u00e9n a k\u00f6zs\u00e9g temet\u0151j\u00e9ben, els\u0151 nagy alkot\u00e1sa\nennek meg\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9se volt. Majd a templomunk k\u00f6vetkezett. M\u00e1r\n1968-ban megkezd\u0151d\u00f6tt a g\u00f3tika helyre\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1sa, mely 1978-79-ben\nfolytat\u00f3dott. A tervezett\nfelt\u00e1r\u00f3 munka elk\u00e9sz\u00fclt, \u00edgy nyugodtan \u00e1ll\u00edthatjuk, hogy a\nber\u00e9nyi templom a magyar g\u00f3tika XXI. sz\u00e1zadra is fennmaradt\n\u00e9p\u00fcleteml\u00e9keink egyik remeke. Ezt k\u00f6vette az els\u0151 \u00e9s m\u00e1sodik\nvil\u00e1gh\u00e1bor\u00faban elhunyt ber\u00e9nyieknek, valamint a falu hat\u00e1r\u00e1ban\nelesett idegen katon\u00e1knak \u00e1ll\u00edtott eml\u00e9km\u0171. E feladat hatalmas\nkutat\u00e1st, szervez\u0151k\u00e9szs\u00e9get k\u00f6vetelt t\u0151le. 1977. november 2-\u00e1ra\na m\u0171 elk\u00e9sz\u00fclt, rajta m\u00e1rv\u00e1nyt\u00e1bl\u00e1n az \u00e1ldozatok neveivel.\nMajd \u2013 1982-1983-ban \u2013 a deport\u00e1lt zsid\u00f3knak \u00e1ll\u00edtott\neml\u00e9km\u0171. Mindkett\u0151 a falu k\u00f6ztemet\u0151j\u00e9ben \u00e1ll, ahol kb. 97\n%-ban r\u00f3mai katolikusok vannak eltemetve.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Szabadidej\u00e9ben a falu t\u00f6rt\u00e9net\u00e9vel, n\u00e9pszok\u00e1saival foglalkozott.
